Oh my God, who the hell didnt see THAT coming. Kings of Leon – Sex on Fire, number one, well blow me down, who would have thought it. How fucking predictable. I would just like to say how disappointed I am with this years hottest 100, yes there will probably be a lot of slagging about this but I mean, come on, Kings Of Leon had not one, but four, yes 4!! songs in the top 100. Can’t you people vote for only one of their songs for Christ sakes. Don’t get me wrong, I actually like the kings but doesnt anyone else think theyre a teensy bit overrated and the hype surrounding them of late is becoming ridiculous. JJJ is becoming so commercial these days I end up listening to my own cds instead. I mean, why not listen to IAMX, Or Patrick Wolf, or SOMETHING OTHER THAN KINGS OF LEON for a change people?!
For the record I actually prefer Aha Shake Heartbreak than their most recent albums. Something not so perfect about them. I wonder how manypeople actually have their first & 2nd albums, or did they all just run out and buy the last one because it had sex on fire?!
Lol, I know I know I’m being a bitch but I am not a gracious loser. What did I lose? My vote! Well not really but wasnt even worth voting because as predicted MGMT & KOL had nearly all of their songs on their albums chart anyway. What the fuck happened to Bloc Party may I ask?! Did you all just selectively ignore their songs and the brilliance they produced this year?! Did the shitload of people at their concerts all forget how to use the internet leading to the hottest 100 and not vote, did you all think their live show was so disappointing you decided not to vote for them?!

since 2000 and up? all shithouse, only the strokes have caught my ear. I listen to Dr karl still these days but otherwise the J’s are not what they used to be. Having said that, i am 38 years of age .lol..I’m kind of past it aswell…..oh, hang on….The Presets are actually pretty good, they sound all 80’s which is my era (old bastad i am lol those guys look my age aswell ) other than that there is nothing of interest for me on the J’s these days… I think i was spoilt by REAL bands ..i.e Faith No More, Soundgarden, The Tea Party and ONLY 80’s Metallica 
In the 90’s JJJ was ‘Alternative’ and stuck with it. It could well be the bands themselves are not doing anything great these days , unfortunately JJJ has suffered from playing this stuff 
Well, as far as i’m concerned – the only band that has been good for many years now is The Strokes. Every band after that kind of falls behind. JJJ in the mid 90’s was great!

Hmmm I kind of know what you mean, although I havent been listening to the js for as long as you have! Although every time I turn it on all I hear is rap and that sort of crap which I am totally over! Yeah The Strokes are pretty good! but I didnt enjoy their last album as much.
There is still some pretty good music on the j’s I think but I mean, Kings of Leon Sex on fire is probably number 1 in commercial radio as well! And 4 songs for the same bands in the hottest 100 is stupid 
. Anyway, I suppose I’ll just keep listening to my own cds, at least I know theyll be good haha
